Walter Drawbridge Crick (1857–1903)

Businessman, amateur geologist, and palaeontologist. Lived in Northampton. Sent CD cockle shells attached to the leg of a beetle; CD’s letter to Nature on the dispersal of freshwater bivalves, published on 6 April 1882, discussed Crick’s observations.
