Edwards Crisp (1806–82)

Physician and medical scientist. General practitioner in London from 1830. Practised as a physician in London, 1849–82. Wrote a number of books on medical subjects; published many papers on medicine and zoology. Built up a museum of comparative and pathological anatomy of over 5000 specimens.
