Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (1832–98)

Mathematician, photographer, and author. Appointed lecturer in mathematics at Christ Church College, Oxford, 1855. Ordained deacon in the Church of England, 1861. Wrote fiction under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll.
