Erasmus Galton (1815–1909)

Naval officer and landowner. Son of Samuel Tertius Galton and Violetta Galton, née Darwin. Brother of Francis Galton. After giving up the navy, took up farming in Loxton, Somerset. Justice of the peace and deputy lieutenant of Somerset.
