Jean Victor Audouin (1797–1841)

French zoologist. Began publication of the Annales des Sciences Naturelles, 1824. Studied the marine invertebrates of the coasts of Brittany and Normandy with Henri Milne-Edwards. Professor of zoology, Muséum d’histoire naturelle, 1833.
