Charles Gould (1834–93)

Geological surveyor. Son of John Gould (1804–81). Studied at the Royal School of Mines, 1854–6. Worked on a geological survey of Tasmania, 1859–69. Returned to England circa 1873. Travelled extensively in the Far East and South America.
