Physician. Assistant surgeon, Royal Navy, 1847–55. Physician, Great Malvern, Worcestershire, 1856–7. Ran a hydropathic establishment at Old Well House, Malvern Wells, 1857–68, initially in conjunction with James Manby Gully. Practised homoeopathy and hygienics. Physician, Torquay, Devon, 1868–84.
