Daniel Hanbury (1825–75)

Pharmacologist. Qualified as a pharmaceutical chemist in 1857. Partner in the London firm Allen & Hanbury of Lombard Street, London, 1868–70. Member of a number of scientific societies in London, including the Royal Society, the Linnean Society, the Chemical Society, and the Microscopical Society. Member of the board of examiners of the Pharmaceutical Society, 1860–72. FRS 1867.
