Henry Bence Jones (1814–73)

Physician and chemist. Physician to St George’s Hospital, 1846–62. Secretary of the Royal Institution of Great Britain, 1860–72. Devoted himself especially to the application of chemistry to pathology and medicine. FRS 1846.
