James Gerald Joyce (1819–78)

Clergyman and archaeologist. BA, Oxford, 1846. Vicar, Burford with Fullbrook, 1850–5; rector of Stratfield Saye, Hampshire, 1855–78. Superintended the excavations of the Roman town at Silchester.
