Nathaniel Lindley, Baron Lindley (1828–1921)

Son of John Lindley. Called to the bar, 1850. Published legal works. Judge of the common pleas, 1875; lord justice of appeal, 1881–97; master of the Rolls, 1897–1900. Created baron, 1900. FRS 1898.
