Frances Elizabeth (Fanny) Longfellow (1843–1861) (1817–61)

American. Second wife of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Sister of Mary Appleton, the wife of Robert Mackintosh (brother of Frances Emma Elizabeth Wedgwood, CD’s sister-in-law). Was burned to death in her home when her dress caught fire.
