Wilhelm Müller (1832–1909)

German anatomist. Doctorate, Erlangen, 1855; habilitated in pathological anatomy, 1857. Professor extraordinarius, Kiel, 1863; professor, Jena, 1864. Worked on the origin and development of renal tuberculosis, respiration and the molecular structure of lung tissue, the structure of healthy and diseased lymph glands, pathological anatomy of the spinal cord, and the origin of visual organs in vertebrates.
