Daniel Mackintosh (1815–91)

Scottish geomorphologist and Quaternary geologist. Author of The scenery of England and Wales (1869), and of papers on the drift and erratics of North Wales. Fellow of the Geological Society of London, 1871. Lecturer in physical geography, Liverpool College.
