Laurence Adamson (1830–70)
Cape Colony civil servant. Son of James Constantine Adamson, a Scottish-born Presbyterian minister, and Catherina Hendrika Auret. Colonial office clerk, circa 1850–70. Chief clerk, Colonial Office, Cape of Good Hope, 1865–70.
