James Macrae (1791/2–1830)
Botanist. Collected plants for the Horticultural Society of London on the Sandwich and Galápagos Islands and in Chile and Brazil. Superintendent, Ceylon botanic gardens, 1827–30. Spelled his surname ‘McRae’.
