Charles Manners-Sutton, 1st Viscount Canterbury (1780–1845)

Barrister and politician. Speaker of the House of Commons, 1817–35. Elected M.P. for Cambridge University in December 1832. Created Baron Bottesford and Viscount Canterbury in 1835.
