Thomas Newman (Newman) Marks (1858–1906)

Newspaper proprietor and businessman. Secretary of the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Buildings, 1879. Proprietor of the East Kent Times, 1881. In the mining industry, 1901. Manager of Traag zinc and lead mines, Porsgrund, Norway, when he died in Christiania (now Oslo).
