Charles Moore (1820–1905)

Botanist. Gardener at the Trinity College Botanic Garden, Dublin, 1835–8. Gardener at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, 1847. Emigrated to Sydney, Australia, in 1848. Toured the South Pacific on HMS Havannah in 1850. Director of the Botanic Gardens, Sydney, 1848–96.
