John Murray, Jr (1851–1928)

Publisher. Eldest son of John Murray (1808–92). Educated at Eton College and Magdalen College, Oxford. Worked as an assistant to his father in the publishing firm from 1872, becoming a partner in 1878. Inherited the family business on the death of his father in 1892.
