John (Jack) Mytton (1796–1834)

Sportsman and eccentric. Served in the army, 1816–17. M.P. for Shrewsbury, 1819–20. Sheriff of Merioneth, 1821, and Shropshire, 1823. Dissipated a fortune and died of delirium tremens in the King’s Bench prison in 1834. Cousin of Fanny and Sarah Owen.
