John Paget (1808–92)

Agriculturalist and writer. Studied medicine but never practised. Travelled on the continent, 1833–7; married a Hungarian noblewoman in 1836 and settled in Hungary, farming an estate at Gyéres, Transylvania. Became a Hungarian citizen in 1847. A zealous member of the Unitarian church of Transylvania.
