André Sanson (1826–1902)

French veterinary and animal breeder. Author of a number of books and articles on animal physiology, breeding, and veterinary medicine. Teacher at the École Veterinaire de Toulouse, 1856; professor of zoology and zootechny at the École d’Agriculture, Grignon, 1872. Chief editor and contributor to Culture, 1859–70.
