John Sims (1749–1831)

Scottish physician and botanist who settled in London. Appointed physician to the Surrey dispensary and to the Charity for Delivering Married Women at their own Houses. Physician to Princess Charlotte. Edited Annals of Botany, 1804–6; Botanical Magazine, 1801–26. FRS 1814.
