Otto Staudinger (1830–1900)

German lepidopterist and dealer. PhD, Berlin, 1854. Travelled extensively in Europe, collecting Lepidoptera. Wrote a standard catalogue of Palaearctic Lepidoptera. Amassed a large collection of insect specimens and became a dealer, specialising in Lepidoptera.
