Thomas Edward Sulivan (1846–73)

Naval officer. Second son of Sophia and Bartholomew James Sulivan. Sub-lieutenant on HMS Gannet, 1865–6, and lieutenant on HMS Duncan, stationed in North America and the West Indies, 1866–7; Transport Service, 1867–8; surveyed the Mediterranean in HMS Newport, 1868–70; lieutenant on HMS Pert, stationed off the Cape of Good Hope, 1870, and the south-east coast of America, 1871–3.
