Henry Baker Tristram (1822–1906)

Clergyman and ornithologist. Secretary to the governor of Bermuda, 1847–9. Rector of Castle Eden, Durham, 1849–60. Canon residentiary of Durham, 1874. Formed extensive ornithological collections from travels in Algeria, Palestine, Egypt, and Japan. FRS 1868.
