Robert Christopher Tytler (1818–72)

Army officer and photographer. Of the 38th Regiment of Bengal Native Light Infantry. Married Harriet Christina Earle (1827–1907) as his second wife in 1848. Shared her interest in photography. Retired to Simla, where he opened a museum.
