Johann Andreas (Andreas) Wagner (1797–1861)

German palaeontologist, zoologist, and archaeologist. Lecturer, University of Erlangen, Bavaria, circa 1826. Professor of zoology and assistant to the zoological museum, University of Munich, 1832. Wrote in opposition to the materialist views of Karl Hermann Konrad Burmeister and Karl Vogt.
