Charles White (1728–1813)

Surgeon. Co-founder of the Manchester Infirmary, 1752, the Manchester Lying-in Hospital, 1790, and the Manchester Literary and Philosophical Society, 1781. Published An account of the regular gradation in man, animals and vegetables (1799). FRS 1762.
