George Young (1819–1907)

Scottish lawyer and politician. Admitted as advocate to the Scottish bar, 1840. Solicitor-general for Scotland, 1862–6, 1868–9. Liberal MP for Wigtown Burghs, 1865–74. Lord advocate of Scotland, 1869. Judge of the Court of Session, 1874.
