Lewis Dunbar Brodie Gordon (1815–76)

Scottish civil engineer. A student of James David Forbes at Edinburgh. First regius professor of civil engineering and mechanics at the University of Glasgow, 1840–55. Engaged in a variety of practical engineering projects.
