John Horne (1835–1905)

Plant collector and botanist. Worked at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, 1859–60; Botanic Garden, Mauritius, 1861–91 (director from 1877). Collected plants in Mauritius, the Seychelles, and Fiji.
