Anna Vasilyevna Jaclard (Анна Васильевна Корвин-Круковская) (1871–1887) (1843–87)
Russian writer and revolutionary. Sister of Sofia Vasilyevna Kovalevskaya. One of her novels was published by Dostoyevsky. Worked for a publisher in Paris, 1867. Fled to Switzerland with the French communist Victor Jaclard in 1870; married him in 1871. Joined the Russian section of the Internationale. Returned to Paris and worked in the Commune in education and medical services. Co-founded the journal La Social. Fled to Switzerland in 1872 with her husband, after they were both condemned to forced labour. Went to Russia in 1874. Returned to Paris in 1880 after being pardoned.
