Wilhelm Lilljeborg (1816–1908)

Swedish zoologist. Held academic posts in zoology at Lund University, 1844–53. Professor of zoology at Uppsala, 1854–82. Established a zoological laboratory at Uppsala in 1875. Specialised in biogeography and pioneered the systematics of the fauna of Sweden and Norway.
