Ruth Lockwood (1833/4–70)

Factory worker. Lived in Kirkgate, Wakefield, Yorkshire. Admitted to Wakefield Pauper Lunatic Asylum, 28 July 1862; discharged, 16 September 1862. Admitted for a second time, 23 May 1868, described as an unmarried mill-hand; died in the asylum on 4 August 1870.
