Samuel Boteler Bristowe (1822–97)

Lawyer and politician. CD’s second cousin once removed. Called to the bar, 1848. Fellow of Trinity Hall, Cambridge, 1849–56. Recorder of Newark, 1869–70. Liberal MP for Newark-on-Trent, 1870–80. County court judge, 1880–91.
