William John Broderip (1789–1859)

Magistrate and naturalist. BA (Oriel College), Oxford, 1812. Called to the bar, 1817. Magistrate in London, 1822–56. A founder of the Zoological Society of London, 1826. Possessed an unrivalled conchological cabinet. FRS 1828.
