Jules de Peyronnet, vicomte de Peyronnet (1804–1872)

French landowner and translator. Owned land in the West Indies. Married Georgina Frances Whitfield (1815–95), an Englishwoman. Moved to St Vincent in 1840 and returned to France in 1844. Translated into French the History of England by Thomas Babington Macaulay (1853).
