August Emanuel von Reuss (1811–73)

Czech-born palaeontologist, geologist, and mineralogist. Born in Bohemia; studied philosophy and medicine in Prague; MD, 1833. Professor of mineralogy, Prague, 1849; Vienna, 1863–73.
