Anthony Salvin (1799–1881)

Architect. Expert on medieval buildings; carried out much restoration work, including the Beauchamp Tower of the Tower of London and several cathedrals. Designed a number of country houses. Exhibited artwork at the Royal Academy. Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, 1824.
