William Scully (d. 1885)

Irish journalist and businessman. Emigrated to Brazil after the Irish potato famine. Founded and edited the weekly Anglo-Brazilian Times, 1865–84. Shipping agent in Rio de Janiero. Published a guide to Brazil in 1865 and a map of the country in 1866.
