Alexander Stewart, 1st earl of Buchan (c. 1345–1405)

Magnate. Known as the "wolf of Badenoch". Lord of Badenoch in the western Grampians, and the castle and forest of Lochindorb in Strathspey, from 1371. Attacked Forres and burned Elgin in 1390.
