John Gilbert Talbot (1835–1910)

Politician. Studied at Christ Church, Oxford. Chairman of the West Kent Quarter Sessions from 1867; member of Kent County Council from 1889. Conservative MP for West Kent, 1868–78; for the University of Oxford, 1878–1910.
