John James Tayler (1797–1869)

Unitarian minister and theologian. Studied at Manchester College and Glasgow. Minister of Mosley Street Chapel, Manchester, 1820–53. Principal of Manchester New College, London, 1853–69. Wrote extensively on Christian theology and religious life.
