Robert Walker (1825/6–81)

Scottish university official. Apprenticed to a cabinet-maker in Cupar, Scotland; worked as a journeyman in St Andrews. Joint librarian and quaestor, St Andrews University, 1864–9; librarian, questor, and registrar, 1869–81. Published in the Scottish Naturalist and Annals and Magazine of Natural History.
