Wilhelm Zenker (1829–99)
German natural scientist and secondary school teacher. D. Phil., Berlin, 1850. Teacher in Realschule, Berlin, 1862–71; Friedrichs-Realgymnasium, Berlin, 1874–6; Potsdam, 1885. Worked in many areas of scientific research, including meteorology, microscopy, astronomy, optics, as well as natural history.
