Patrick Proctor Alexander (1823–86)

Author. Educated at St Andrew’s, Scotland. Retired from business in 1860. Contributed prose and verse to newspapers and periodicals, and wrote for encyclopaedias. Assistant to John Ferguson McLennan on the Law Amendment Society for Scotland.
