Joseph Knight (b. c. 1777 d. 1855)

Gardener and nurseryman. Gardener to George Hibbert, a wealthy plant collector in Clapham whose collection he acquired. Founder of the Exotic Nursery, King’s Road, London, 1808; the business was sold to James Veitch & Sons in 1853.
