Charles George Tripp (1826–97)

Settler and sheep farmer. Born at Kentisbeare, Kent. Emigrated to New Zealand in 1854. Settled at the Orari Gorge Station in Canterbury, New Zealand. Married Ellen Shephard Harper in 1858.
